Bridging Divides is the plan to break barriers of discrimination, inequality, and bias to bring two sides together, overcoming differences and embracing oneness and unity. There is a need to bridge the gap between various divides to ensure a better world.
Philanthropy has a vital role to play in Empowering minds and Bridging Divides. Through donations and volunteer exercise, philanthropy has helped in addressing community needs and providing opportunities for empowerment – through education, training, employment, and sustainable development. This act helps to bridge the divide as it gives various countries, and regions that are unable to have a chance at a better life with opportunities to break limitations and barriers and achieve great things.
Education as a Bridge to Opportunity
Various Non-governmental organisations have adopted education as a means to bridge divides by advocating for policy changes and providing better education opportunities. These organisations provide scholarships, training, and other opportunities that help make a difference. Some organisations go as far as establishing schools or training facilities in remote regions which helps make a difference in the lives of many, as the communities now have the chance that they otherwise might not and this help bridge the divide.
