To commemorate World Humanitarian Day, we call for urgent action to protect humanitarian workers and civilians especially those affected by conflict/ war. This day is an opportunity to reflect on the impact of humanitarian work and to delve into ways we can help humanitarian workers and save humanity as a whole.

Humanitarian workers, volunteer to put their lives on the line for the well-being of others, irrespective of race, color, religion, or other prejudicial views. Wherever there is human suffering, humanitarian workers are there to help alleviate hardship through their sacrifice and service.
Despite International laws to regulate the conduct of armed conflict and limit its impact, violations of these laws continue unchallenged and unchecked. The world continues to fail humanitarian workers and the people they serve. Civilians, including aid workers, pay the ultimate price, and the perpetrators go unpunished/ sanctioned.
- Attacks on health facilities, health workers and those seeking care are clear violations of international humanitarian law
The attacks on civilians must stop. The attacks on human rights must stop. Humanitarian assets must be deployed without any sabotages. Abuse of power must not be allowed to continue nor tolerated. Humanitarian workers must be supported by all means. Only we can help our fellow humans. Our voice is the power. Our collective effort is the pillar.
We can be the pillar that supports humanitarian workers and those who are unfortunate. By volunteering your time, raising awareness about pressing issues, or making donations to initiatives centered on humanitarian aid such as the International Rescue Committee or Somali Relief and Development Association, we help to alleviate human suffering and promote global solidarity.
- Failure to act means this violence could become normalized.
When Humanitarian workers are unable to do their work, it means a breakdown in care and survival for millions, including, or especially, people living in remote areas in need of major and basic life resources. On this day, we call on Leaders to Choose Humanity and take actions that help promote humanitarian efforts.
- Call to Action

Would you raise your voice for humanity or be silenced by indifference?
